A familiar face, a familiar place…

I think we all have spaces or people who make us feel safe, who center us. I am someone who craves structure, I almost require it to function efficiently.

There are very rare people, very few places where I feel safe, where I feel a sense of “home”. It is some kind of miracle that I am able to feel calm amongst chaos, I can hear silence amongst so much noise. My only sense of anxiety is losing this feeling.

Isn’t it amazing? How a place can trigger so many different emotions? How every person we know offers us a different reflection of ourselves? I like what I see when you look at me. – S
